I appear to have two choices for travelling.
  1. Involves travelling down to junction 40 of the M6, then taking the A66 until it hits the A1(M) which will take me through Leeds to Jct 37 of the M1 which is where I get off.
  2. Involves travelling down the M6 to Jct 38, taking the A65 through Giggleswick (fantastic!), then the A629, then the A650, through Bradford until I hit Jct 27 of the M62, which leads conveniently onto the M1
The first one looks way easier. But the A1(M) is a famously nasty bit of road. I've only travelled small sections of it and would agree that it is rather unpleasant. My dad shall be driving the van, thanks be :)

I decided today to take the plunge and have the downpipe on my car replaced. It's been blowing for a while and my dad recommended getting it fixed. Cost me £100 but the car sounds better - not sure if it feels better but still. I'd have gotten the piss taken out of me by my dad if I didn't get it done :)

After work took it for a test run over the hills to Kilmacolm and back through the back roads to Port Glasgow. Nice drive, NOT. It was windy, rainy, dark and slippy. Euch. Worth it though, for the test run and making sure nothing will fall off :))

I should be packing the kitchen. I can't do it. I can't face starting in there. It's too much! Maybe I should just go for it. Bet it's one of those things that when you start you just can't stop.

I'm so exited about moving.
