pmsumner at 12:46pm on 13/01/2004I am having what is commonly called a "good day". I woke up, went to work, did a half day, came home and have done stuff. I worked on the car, spraying the rusty patches with Hammerite until I get some dry weather when I can actually treat it properly. Then it started raining, pants! So I abandoned that and came inside.
I've had some problematic bills pop up this month, mainly council tax and BT, unexpected really. Council tax was higher than I expected due to the council being a bit slow in setting everything up, so I've called them and rearranged my payments so that I have more time to make them. Ain't they nice? Nicer than Inverclyde Council, anyhow. BT have also agreed to cancel my direct debit for this month, then I'll make a payment when I get paid and set the d/d back up then.
Powergen have decided that they will re-estimate my bill, it's ludicrously high for the time period they were supplying me. I'm now just awaiting a new one.
I am happy today.
I was not happy last night.
