pmsumner at 11:52am on 13/09/2004Jane came over Friday evening, at which point I promptly went to bed and slept like a log until Saturday, when I was working. Boo. I hate leaving a lady in bed. Worked, then went to Ikea on Saturday evening when I bought myself a new metal shelving unit thingie which is now built and in my kitchen, giving me a lot more space than I had before, yay.
We went to see Open Water, which was possibly the most godawful thing I have seen since... I can't think of any film I have disliked so much. It was half an hour of plot and an hour of filler. There were some nice touches but overall, a big thumbs down. "Based on a true story". Based on what you think a true story may have looked like, would be more accurate...
Sunday I did the same, left a lady in bed (*sigh*) and worked, came home where we watched Black Books, put together the ikea furniture, ate, and Jane left. In short, anyhow.
That was my weekend.
However, my real weekend starts now. Monday and Tuesday off work :) So I slept in until gone 11 (shocking) and have just called Egg (*sigh*), will call the police very soon regarding the abandoned car that's been outside my house for the past... how long? I need a haircut desperately, must complete app form due in on the 16th, and after that I am needing to cut the grass.
Let's hope it rains, eh?
