I'm now signed up with 3 companies that appear to have the goods that they advertise with minimum hassle. Some provide the goods but are a hassle (why sign a NDA and send back in post when you can agree online?).

The three companies I'm signed up with are:
  • Cinecheck (http://www.cinecheck.com) - The idea being that you check if local cinemas are showing the right adverts and trailers. Reading reviews of them on Ciao (www.ciao.com) - looks like the opinions vary greatly depending where you are and when you sign up.
  • Retail Eyes (http://www.retaileyes.co.uk/) - They provide a list of companies who want assignments done in the areas that you choose and you can agree to do them if you want. Seems to have lots of work available but they're a bit harsh on their T's and C's.
  • Grass Roots Group (http://www.grgresearch.com/) - I've been doing stuff with these guys for a few months. They send assignments by email and you can accept or decline - it seems to come in fits and starts - I've not had any from them for a few months and had 3 this month.
I'm also signed up with http://www.emysteryshopper.com/ but as previously mentioned, they want me to print and send an NDA. No ink here to print with... may actually be worth heading to PC World to pick a new cartridge up.

Need to get dressed first! Dressing gowns aren't very good "going out" clothing.

Various, for the GRG stuff tend to get a tenner for each assignment, which normally takes no more than 10mins in the store and a few mins paperwork. Retail Eyes offer lots of different but averages out about a tenner + the cost of whatever you buy

It does sound sensible to join,
but I doubt I could be asked.

Oh well

It's one of these things that just totally grabbed my imagination for some reason. It's easy to do it when you can be bothered, and as I get plenty of days off with my weird shifts it gives me something to do that doesn't involve spending money :)

If you work 9-5 I imagine it's probably more of a hassle.
