Today has been "a good day". Picked up Kev about 7:25am, got to work at 7:50 only to find that we couldn't log in, hurrah! The IS guys had been trying to integrate TSC systems with the T-Mobile data/comms room and something had screwed up. Shucks! Spent an hour goofing off before they fixed it.
I'd realised before leaving home that I'd managed to royally screw my email. I've moved philsumner.co.uk from the Raq to my home PC. When I did that, I forgot to tell mainpc that it should consider philsumner.co.uk to be local - meaning I got a few bounces overnight. Fixed it from the hotspot and laptop at work.
My home PCs pretty secure - not uber-secure like the Raq but considering it'll only ever be myself that has an (authorised) account on there barring a couple of closeish friends, I'm not worried too much. I'll let Andrew know soon that I don't intend to renew.
(I'm going to need to update my backup routine, trying to do backups on a weekly basis.)
Then there was training. Well, if you can call it training. We had a booklet to read and no devices to actually learn anything on! Grand. So eh. That lasted all afternoon! Home for 5:00, made a MASSIVE batch of chilli which isn't as hot as I wanted, despite pouring more chilli powder and chopping up a chilli into it. Either way, I have enough lunch for the next week.
