What do you fall back on when you need something comforting and predictable?

My standby appears to have become Lost in Translation. I find myself reaching for it when i have some spare time and nothing to fill it, and despite now knowing the film forwards and sideways it still hits me emotionally. Maybe that's why i keep on coming back to it...?

Anyway... Do you have a 'standby' thing, and what is it?
Mood:: Hmm

oh dear.... I have so many 'standbys' for comfort!

chocolate.
red wine.
vin deisel (ok... not in real life but I have movies)
and you know... once in a while, a good willing subject for a good beating! (ok... so this is not alawys so predictable--but it sure provides comfort)

yup. that's all one needs.

Having a willing subject is easy - I'm always willing :P
Vin Diesel is surprising to me! I never would have pictured him as something people actually like *G* But I can't really comment as I've never seen him in anything but trailers...

Radio 4 and gin :)

heheh, judging by that comment one could say "you are _so_ middle class" *G*

Radio 4's fine until you hit the World Service or the Archers, at which point it quickly gets turned over, and Gin on it's own without tonic ice and lemon is just pointless, and I don't have any of those! *sobs*
