Went to see Valiant the yesterday, and well I was impressed with it and bored by it in equal doses.
It was very short (about 75mins by my reckoning), had some quite funny bits, some quite rude bits and some bits which made me yawn. I wouldn't go to see it again but it wasn't a wasted evening. On Saturday evening Jane and I went to see Be Cool. This was very enjoyable and very funny, with a few cringeworthy bits (John Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing again), and the Rock taking the mickey out of himself by playing a gay bodyguard with desires to go into dancing/acting! Silly.
It's only 11 days now until N-day (the 19th May, assessment day). I've been reading lots and even gone so far as to find liveATC.net - a site which allows you to listen in to various ATC frequencies around the world. Silly silly silly, but quite interesting! Also downloaded ATCC simulator from a random website which has given me some ideas of things to ask people, which is where I'm a little stuck.
I'm enjoying playing Medieval - Total War. I did OK at the tutorials but failing miserably at the reak thing. Think I need more practice!
