Currently sore as heck. Really should be in bed. Work tomorrow, driving to Shropshire tomorrow evening for some daft reason. Will be nice, as I haven't seen the lady for a coupla weeks! Seems like forever. Will be nice to have a couple of days off from the pool/gym :)
Work trying to screw us about with shifts again. 4 different start times in one week? 3 weekends out of five working? 11 late finishes in a row (with only a couple of days off)? Switching between late finishes and early starts? Random days off, including not having two days off together most of the time?
We've declined to work these shifts. After all - the rest of the teams in Dearne at least have rather cushy shifts. We've all decided that we'll quit what we're doing now and move to different teams if it comes to it!
I have some hope for the "Technical Sales Support" position I applied for with Vodafone back in April. Still showing as under consideration on the web, so I've mailed recruitment@vodafone (.co.uk) asking for an update on what's happening. That's a job I really feel that I could do. It's in Newbury, which isn't exactly the best place in the world but hey, what can you do? :)
