OK, comments requested...
http://pmsumner.eu.org/~pmsumner/weblog/

It's not much, but it appears to work, at least internally on my wee network. Anyone care to try it out? There's only one entry, so don't expect a thrilling read or anything. Can some kind soul tell me if it even looks like it should work?

I can see it. But I can't use it.

It worked fine in terms of clicking on links - no problems there. However, trying to post comments fails gloriously, as do some other operations. This might be because it thinks it's installed on a machine named "mainpc", and needs the hostname changing to something I can actually get to.

Example URI, as evidence:
http://mainpc/MT-3.17-full-en_US/mt-tb.cgi/2

I'm going to sleep now, but I hope that's helped. :-)

(Um... Why was my previous comment anonymous? Dammit. I think your LJ is broken too! *grins*)

Blame LJ, nothing to do with me :)
I'm slightly confused by the whole "mainpc" thing. I told it to use the publically accessible URL, and it updated everything except the URLs in the archive. Buggy software, eh? :)

I can read it, and click the shorten entry link, but the comments are screwed.

Thank you :) Think it's now fixed. Bloody stupid things that don't work the way I expect them to :))

PROBLEM - the Preview button goes to MAINPC!

As someone suggested, it needs to be a URL that can be referenced from t'Internet. e.g. a folder on the same server, in the public web space:
/s/blogpost.pl

Odd, I told it to use the publically accessible URL and rebuilt the site, but it didn't update the URL in the "archive" directory. Deleted old items, and newly posted ones look like they should now work.
