A visual extravaganza! An interesting and engaging storyline. A soundtrack that fits the action perfectly.
Had an occasional feeling that some things didn't fit together properly, some of the story felt a little episodic. But as an overall - this film is fantastic. Is it DVD 'must buy' material? Not quite, but close.
My incoherence is partly down to my sub-4hrs kip last night, and the fact that Nightwatch was only on at 2315 :)

even completely awake and attentative the film, good though as it is, doesn't really fit that well.
I reckon had I read the books some bits would have made more sense and a lot of it should have been cut shorter.
I know they are trying to make an epic trilogy but still 30 minutes randomness cut out of the film would have made it special.
