Questions from
clarisinda
- Do you think you will ever return to live in Scotland?
- If you had to go on an adventure holiday, what kind would you choose?
- What would be your ideal (yet realistic) job?
- Do/did you play any sports or other physical activities?
- How do you plan to spend your retirement?
Yes. I will make/have made this my ultimate goal. I don't care when, I don't care where - but I will end up living somewhere north of the border. Hopefully not too far into the future!
I'm not big on adventure these days, mainly due to not having the money! I have to base it on what I've done in the past. I really enjoyed gully walking in Dalguise (nr Perth)... I love off-road driving so maybe a safari or rally adventure holiday would be the way to go?
I want to be a 'product owner' as it's known in the support biz. I want to be ultimately responsible for one service, or a group of services. This would encompass not only the ultimate support of this service, but future development of this service and ensuring it's future survival.
Whilst at school I played rugby. Lots. We played all season, we practised 3 nights a week. I was fit, I could do a full pitch shuttle run (dead ball line->try line->dead ball->22mtr line->dead ball line->10mtr line->dead ball->half-way->dead ball->10mtr->dead ball->22mtr->dead ball->try line->dead ball->dead ball->end) without breaking much of a sweat. I WANT to get back into it. I want desperately to do it. There's even a local team that I know about.
The problem I have is working changable shifts - I can't commit to games, I can't commit to practices, I can't commit to anything long-term. But I want to play again.
My retirement will hopefully be a time of relative easy financial burden, spent travelling and emjoying myself around the world.
