And it's absolutely roasting in here. Top floor flat with damn good insulation, by the feel of it. I've every single window open, there's a tiny breeze and I'm still feeling like taking a cold shower.

Rather annoyed at ICM - LetsXL tenant's insurance. I didn't receive a renewal notice from them and I thought yesterday that it was nearly renewal time. Checked my paperwork and found I've had no cover for 2 months! I'm in breach of my tenancy agreement. To make it worse - I called them on the 7th of April, 7 days before it ended, to ask them to fax details of my policy to my letting agency. Why didn't they say anything then? Surely if I'm asking you to send details of a policy somewhere, isn't a good guess that I don't know it's coming to an end?

Today at work we had a gathering with the head of Tech Services, Paul. He's a nice, approachable fella and said to us that he was hearing yesterday's speech at the same time as we were, and was rather shocked to find that customer facing staff were being given what felt like a rather public telling-off. He wanted to assure us that he was trying to find out what the deal is, and ask our opinions. Got some opinions from all the dept.

Off to Jane's this weekend - hurrah.
Weekend after is free... Wonder what we can get up to in Cheshire that's not too horrifically expensive :)
