I am a bad bad man

I bought Shopgirl tonight. I went to Borders for Starbucks and after, whilst poking round the DVDs I saw about 15 films I wanted, but Shopgirl and Broken Flowers were both decent prices.

I love Shopgirl. It really is a silly sappy film and a great adaptation of Steve Martin's book.

Tomorrow night... Broken Flowers.

Shopgirl is a 2005 film, based on Steve Martin's novella "Shopgirl" (oddly enough!). It and "You've got Mail" are not related in any way that I can think of, though you never know - there could be a cameraman/director involved in both, and I am not obsessive enough to care who directs what :)
