If I find the assholes who have been setting off fireworks for the past hour right outside my window, I'm going to hurt them in ways that they truly won't enjoy.

I feel like shit, I'm exhausted, I'm grouchy, I'm grumpy, I've been very nearly asleep at least 4 times in the past hour. Every time I've been extremely rudely awoken by some selfish cu^H^Htwonk thinking that perhaps their own gratification ("ooo, look at the pretty sparkles!") counts for more than other people's peace and quiet.

(Oddly enough, I've been googling for lists of "I'm going to x until y" humourous threats and can't find any!)

You may get the idea that fireworks aren't my favourite things in the world.
Wonder why.

I just wanna sleep. It's not an unreasonable request.

You completely have my sympathy! I was getting all annoyed when the world cup was in (since I work in Germany it was held here) and everytime someone saw someone else who supported teh same team (pointed out by flags in windows, cars, anything really) they would beep their horn, loudly, no matter what time of night it was.

I hope it all stops soon so you can just relax and get some much needed sleep!

I'd given up at this point :-\ It stopped about 2230. I then didn't back get to bed until about midnight, you know you just have to be in the right mood for bed.
