Why I woke up at 9am this morning? This just isn't right. It appears that productivity spawns productivity. Heh. There's a slip through the door telling me we have a parcel at the post office. I'd best go get it, because I have no idea what it is, or even might be. I can't understand why that bit of the post office is only open from 5:30-midday, it just doesn't seem right!

I need to go and register at some temp agencies. Really. It is admitting defeat, biting the bullet, however you want to say it. But my desire for money has finally outstripped my desire for a "career first, job second" position. Means I need to find my CV... hmmm.

OK, I know some German - I studied it for a yr or so at A-Level and found it so incredibly dull and boring that I quit, I was't any good at it anyhow, and I wanted to concentrate on other stuff.

So, I can now post one line entries from this client. I can't set mood, music or anything, but - what's important as far as I care, is that it posts! YAY! Next job - get it to work multi-line, am assuming the only way to do this is by using an external editor. Feh. After that, remove the hard coded user/pass. After that, get music/moods working. Easy, huh?

Today I got dragged into doing stuff - so never got the chance to go into Glasgow and go round temp agencies. Oh well. But tommorrow I apply for a position at HSBC's Glasgow call centre. Good pay (comparatively), prolly shitty work... Evening shifts, however, which could be a problem... depends how "evening" evening is. Last train is at 11:30pm...

I'll call and ask. Yes indeed. Glasgow is call-centre-city. I will try to decide which is the lesser evil - office temping (unreliable and irregular work, fairly reasonable pay but office hours) or call centre stuff (regular work, variable pay and often shitty hours). Hmmm.
