What do you like or dislike about autumn?
Leaves. Love the leaves. The colours, the piles on the ground and in the gutter that you can walk through and make rustling noises and kick them all over the place. The nights drawing in, a feeling of cosiness that you don't get at any other time.

Leaves. Hate the leaves! They get everywhere. There's a perpetual low-grade drizzle and dampness around which permeates everything. You need to fill the windscreen washer bottle on the car more often.

Have you raked leaves into a pile just to jump in them?
Not lately. I don't have enough leaves in my back garden to make a pile! There are no trees around my garden.

Have you ever carved a pumpkin and how did it turn out?
No - this seems to be a peculiarly American phenomenon.

Have you ever eaten anything made from pumpkins other than pie?
I don't think I've ever eaten pumpkin pie. I'm sure that I've eaten pumpkin on it's own but I can't remember where, when or even why.

Where is a good spot to see the leaves change color where you live?
Dearne Valley Park. Lovely area in summer and autumn. I should get some photos from round there some day. Head out on the bike, it's only a few miles off and almost all downhill ;) The downside being that it's nearly all uphill the way back!
