I felt vaguely embarassed going to Living Well this evening. The problem is the longer it was, the worse I felt. The worse I felt the less I wanted to go. Forever circular, round and round I went. Swimming, sauna and steam room later. Yum.

Chicken cooked and yummy sandwich made. Soup made from remainders. Time for whisky. Want beer.
Mood:: 'cranky' cranky
Music:: Frasier - Paramount

Don't worry, after a three-week Christmas break, my kickboxing instructor decided to try to kill us on Thursday. There were four of us who had to sit down or risk falling over by then end of the session, myself included.

It's depressing how quickly you lose any fitness you built up if you don't use it. It's said frequently (or I hear frequently) that you can lose up to half the benefit of what you did within 72hrs if you don't exercise again.

I cycled the 1-2miles or so into and out of Barnsley the other day and I was nearly dead when I got home, whereas 2months ago it would have been _easy_! Fah.

I will be living off of soup for a good long time. I will maybe be making soup with chicken tomorrow!

Soup is so good though. It's easy to make, nutritious, cheap, and will last as long as you need it to - and you can just keep extending it on and on and on and on and on.
