An attempt at making sushi

I admit this is not my first attempt. Our first two sheets of Nori didn't work out too well. We discovered that doing thin sushi requires an awful lot less rice than you'd expect!

And as evidence that our previous attempts were awful, look at this:

And that's after having tidied them up as much as I could!

Don't despair..I have also faced the wrath of the mighty Sushi Fail...but at least it still tasted okay. You will succeed, I believe it in my heart!

Oh I'm not at all worried - the last batch I did came out quite tidily. Not at all straight, but who wants straight food? :) I say practise makes perfect, and the more practise I get, the more sushi rolls I get!
