The Wii is here, plugged in and I can't concentrate on sports because I am icky ill.

Tomorrow is our last work day and I suspect I may call in sick. Why drive 40 miles when I can barely talk? Will see how I feel.

This post brought to you by the letters Wii and Opera :)

At least I'm not running to the loo every 5 minutes. Had a few minutes/hours kip and now don't feel like I'm going to keel over. Had my first drink of the day (ooo boiled water - how exciting) and so far it's not had any adverse effects.

Considering going to the cinema this evening if I still feel OK. Not sure what to see? Domino's on, Elizabethtown, The Legend of Zorro - they're the 3 on at the UGC which I fancy. I think Domino, because it sounds like fun. Cheesy fun but fun nonetheless.

Watching BBC News 24 for more info on this 90 day locking up vote thing in Parliament. Unsure whether I think it's a bad thing. I can see where the police/Tony are coming from, but I've yet to hear a compelling argument that convinces me that there's no other way the police can get the information they require.

[LJ2ME] Hasn't this been a good night?

Come to bed about eleven, spend the next six hours either on the loo, or with my head down the bowl. I think i have managed a grand total of two hours broken sleep so far.

Remember what i said last night about calling in to work? This is definitely worth it.

Well, if you think Allison Goldfrapp is lovely, then this wallpaper is just too gorgeous to turn down.

Must make it to Barnsley tomorrow morning to do a CPWH job. Tried to do it this morning but was so tired and had no change for parking, so gave up and rescheduled it for tomorrow. Did bizzare job for Assosia last night/this morning which was a little uhhm, weird... can't go into too many details but was an "undercover audit" on salad cream, of all the most exciting things!

Feeling really naff at the moment. Head cold is in full swing. Cotton wool stuffed in space where brain should be? Check. Snotty nose? (Well - more than normal!) Check. Sore joints and general aches? Check. Unstoppable sneezing? Check. Unquenchable thirst? Yep. Scratchy throat? Yep.

I don't particularly want to call in sick as this really doesn't warrant it, but being in work is just icky when like this.

The journey was nasty. Mainly down to my neck being sore the whole damn way. I couldn't find a comfortable position to sit. I got home, went to bed. Struggled to get comfy for half an hour before finding the one spot I could lie and not be in agony, and slept. I think I slept in that one position all night.

Today I feel much better. I can actually move my head without cringing, and my stomach is behaving, mostly. I am absolutely starving because haven't eaten anything over the last 3 days other than... 2 sausages on Sunday morning and a Sandwich in the evening, but I daren't put anything else in.

Must go pick up iPod from post office today. Got an hour until they shut up shop...

I went to bed at 6pm, feeling shivery, shakey and thick-headed, unable to sleep, unwilling to stay awake.

I got up several times during the night for an hour or so, but 1pm I eventually felt able to face the world again. Stiff, sore and creaking.

I still feel crappy - dehydrated I think - but no matter what I drink it ends up evacuating pretty quickly anyhow.

I wanna party, but it's gonna be tough unless my body sorts itself out pretty quick.
Mood:: sore
