My iPod now has 129MB of free space. I'm going to have to start deleting stuff from it before putting more on.

Am desperate for a haircut. Must get one on Friday.
Need to do laundry. Must do that now.
Need to ensure I have food in for Christmas day and boxing day tea, and lunches at work. Must do that sometime before I leave Jane's, preferably on Christmas Eve as nobody's going to be open other than T-Mobile, eh.

Currently very tired.
Had two foul days at work. Someone's fiddling with the routing so we're now taking a high proportion of calls off the IVR, none of us are pleased. I wouldn't mind so much if the people responsible wouldn't lie when asked about it. We asked "is this change intentional" and were told "It's a routing problem". Well how is it a routing problem that's lasted for 2 days? If I started taking Telereg calls - you can bet your ass that would be fixed in seconds. Only later did Nadine say, during a different conversation, that it was to protect service levels, hence being done intentionally.

Currently recording No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom". Good album from what I remember.

I-f***ing-tunes again.
I tell it to automatically update my podcasts, and one playlist. I go to use it later, only to find all the music that was on it appears not to be there any more. It appears that iTunes had decided that instead of automatically updating the relevant tracks and leaving the rest alone, it would delete the rest.

I don't understand this software. I don't know how it works, how it makes it's decisions, how it thinks that it should work. It's so mind-bogglingly un-intuitive that I'm giving up with it, and will fork out US$20 to buy Anapod Explorer - as long as it deals with Podcasts in a reasonable manner.

I wouldn't mind so much if I wasn't talking over 450 tracks! 450 tracks removed from the device without so much as a warning.

I downloaded a trial version of Anapod Manager to play with, to try and do some things on the iPod that iTunes doesn't let me do easily. I made many changes to the tracks on there - 115, to be precise. Various album names added, various years added, track numbers added. A couple of hours research on the web and my CD collection.

I then ran iTunes whilst watching Frasier. I didn't watch what iTunes was doing because I was watching TV.

I went back to the iPod, only to find that iTunes had overwritten all my changes with the information stored in it's own database. Where the hell, where in the world does this heap of crap get off on doing that? I've now turned off iTunes' options to update anything, ever. I'm just pissed off about it.

The journey was nasty. Mainly down to my neck being sore the whole damn way. I couldn't find a comfortable position to sit. I got home, went to bed. Struggled to get comfy for half an hour before finding the one spot I could lie and not be in agony, and slept. I think I slept in that one position all night.

Today I feel much better. I can actually move my head without cringing, and my stomach is behaving, mostly. I am absolutely starving because haven't eaten anything over the last 3 days other than... 2 sausages on Sunday morning and a Sandwich in the evening, but I daren't put anything else in.

Must go pick up iPod from post office today. Got an hour until they shut up shop...
